Lighthouse Point is the southernmost part of the island, and considered, by many, to be the most beautiful part of Eleuthera. Many visitors take the long, rocky road to the area, and are rewarded with an awesome, pristine, completely undeveloped paradise. Matter of fact, it is the favorite part of Eleuthera for many people.

The land is owned by a Mr George Adams of nassau, who is in his 80's. He made his fortune in the canning business, and many think that, once he passes, the land will be passed to his relatives, and will never be developed.

It is suggested that you drive a jeep, or go very slowly on the rocky road. Also, pack a lunch, and make a day of it. There are plenty of beaches within walking distance.
